Landi Sempach-Emmen
Compound feed production is at the heart of the agricultural sector at Landi Sempach-Emmen. Various areas of the compound feed plant in Sempach Station were updated in order to guarantee high quality in the future as well.
The outdated control and monitoring technology of the sugar beet sampling systems was replaced and standardised: Using a system adapted to sugar factories, from now on only one software will be used to control, monitor and analyse the entire plant.

Property | Modernisation of control technology for sugar beet sampling systems |
An identification number – directly from the beet yard system – ensures the management of the sample during analysis, transmits the data to the information system and allocates it to the beet producer for billing. The data is also used for sugar production control and quality control.
The new system offers several advantages: Thanks to central data storage, for example, manual batch allocation is no longer necessary. In addition, operating personnel only require one user interface, which improves process efficiency.
The core feature of the control system is the proven system software iQOS®. It represents the most up-to-date standard in process control technology and is a leader in the field of metering and mixing systems.
