The disabled rehabilitation centre, 'Eingliederungsstätte Baselland' (ESB) has many different stakeholder groups with differing ICT needs. A stable, functioning network and continuous voice solution ensure a needs-oriented ICT infrastructure at the ESB. It is the highway connecting residences, workshops, shops and the administration with each other at fifteen locations.
The Bouygues Energies & Services Mitel 470 call-server solution deployed provides the ESB with a modern IP telephone system whose functional scope fully meets the different requirements of the social institutions. About 200 digital terminals and mobile DECT telephones are distributed across the locations and connected to the system. A Beralarm alarm server monitors the technical systems. Any malfunction triggers an alarm. A PC mediator, CTI and resident calls round off the functional scope. The core of the data network consists of a Cisco Catalyst 9000 Switches series solution. The ESB deploys the proven Cisco Catalyst 2960X Switches series in the periphery. Furthermore, a Sophos XG Firewall was implemented to protect the Internet connection.
Bouygues Energies & Services provided the customers with comprehensive support from planning to operational handover and today still provides vigorous support in the form of engineering, operating and maintenance services.
