Bouygues Energies & Services and Equans are officially Equans Switzerland from July 1, 2024
More than 300 employees gathered at the World Trade Center in Zurich-Oerlikon to experience the innovative world of the Bouygues Construction Group up close and personal. New technologies from the areas of smart energy, smart building, smart mobility, occupational safety, skills management and research & development were presented at 34 stands.
The event for employees and business partners saw itself as a platform to show the diversity of innovations within the Group. In particular, the opportunity for exchange was offered in order to create synergies and to examine the applicability of the technologies presented on the Swiss market. It is not without reason that Bouygues Construction sees innovation as the greatest benefit for customers and employees and has long promoted it through various programs in collaboration with Start-ups.
These programs enable us to continuously develop and research the latest technologies. This allows us to offer our customers tailor-made, modern solutions from a single source for all building and energy projects.
The event provided some answers to this question. The innovations presented from Switzerland, France, Canada and the UK ranged from individual solutions for employees to smart building technologies and power storage solutions.
Follow The Face (FTF) technology, for example, offers intelligent solutions for retail and hospitality. It enables users to perform real-time analyses of the structure, behaviour and satisfaction of their customers. On the same basis, FTF offers solutions for the working world, such as access systems and time recording. Users can continuously improve their products and services, increase customer satisfaction or check compliance with their security regulations.
Devices such as the exoskeleton and Zero-G arm are specifically designed to relieve physical strain on employees on construction sites. The exoskeleton is a device that is attached to the upper part of the body, making it easier to work in difficult places. The Zero-G arm, on the other hand, is attached to supports whose function is to carry heavy hand tools, thereby reducing physical strain and increasing productivity.
The THEIA e-commerce platform, on the other hand, uses the full range of digital tools to reach customers through new channels, better meet customer needs and provide a unique sales experience. After answering a few questions, the customer receives a guideline offer at any time, for example to replace his heating, install an e-Mobility charging station or generate his own electricity with photovoltaics.
The next Innovation Day is already planned for May 2020.
