The professionals of Bouygues Energies & Services in the region south-east updated the ventilation technology to the state-of-the-art in the Marguns mountain restaurant.
The Marguns mountain restaurant in the Corviglia skiing area about St. Moritz stayed closed in summer 2020. The locality popular equally with skiers and summer guests was in need of extensive renovation.
Apart from the complete renovation of the building, the ventilation systems were renewed and updated to the state-of-the-art. The Engadin St. Moritz Mountains AG commissioned the specialists of Bouygues Energies & Services of the St. Moritz location to execute the work at 2,277 masl. All of the materials had to be driven in advance from Celerina via the Via Ruinatsch to the location.
Four modern ventilation systems were installed in the area of the kitchen, skiing school, self-service area and premises of the Pizzeria Chadafö. The new systems possess optimised heat recovery that reduce the energy requirements of the ventilation systems to a minimum. The air quantities are regulated by volume flow controllers, which in addition facilitate energy-saving operation.
"For us as a family company based for over 60 years in St. Moritz, being able to assist in the renovation of the Margun restaurant was an honour. It was an exciting, motivating challenge in a wonderful working environment," is how Antoon Van Dartel, location director at Bouygues Energies & Services in St. Moritz, described the mood in his team.
